A CAMRA Gourmet?

Can there be such a thing?  The CAMpaign for Real Ale stands for just that real cask conditioned ale.  This night we will be matching food to beer and will surprise the palates of most discerning drinkers and dinners alike.  Beer with food really works, and you don?t have to be the stereo typical beer drinker to enjoy it.
This seven-course dinner will include beer with proper British Cuisine.
Same format as our Wine dinners, everything included until after coffee and the evening is priced at ?35 per person

And don?t worry, you don?t have to drink a gallon unless you want too!

Mud House Dinner ? Marlborough ? New Zealand

The name maybe somewhat off putting, conjuring up thoughts of gritiness and imagining the only thing you would what to do after drinking it, would be spit it back out. However the name comes from a building and not the wines, I tried the Pinot Noir first, at the top of Tryfan in Snowdonia after a scramble up Heather Terrace. The views were stunning and the wine equally so, dark and rich, tasting of lovely fresh blackberries, a moment and wine to savour. The sauvignon blanc comes with a screw top but don?t let this put you off, in a few years there will be lots of good quality wineries doing the same thing.
Tonight?s dinner is hosted by founder John Joslin and we will have the opportunity to try all the wines
A 5 course dinner will be served and is priced at ?55
Visit Mud House for more details of the winery, the people and their award winning wines.
